Coronavirus (COVID-19) Preparedness from GroundLink

It’s no secret that the coronavirus has introduced a lot of uncertainty in a variety of industries, including the travel industry. We want to assure the passengers, travel arrangers, and corporate travel managers we serve that GroundLink has taken the necessary steps to continue to provide our high level of service to travelers worldwide.

Open for Business

At GroundLink, duty of care is and always will be our top priority. Because of our commitment to our customers’ and our employees’ safety, we have a disaster-preparedness plan as well as a business continuity plan in place, and we updated these plans with the emergence of the coronavirus.

Our ability to provide high-end black car transportation has not changed. Our office staff is hard at work, our drivers and affiliates are eager to serve you, and our leadership team is monitoring the situation while filling their usual roles.

If circumstances change, we have contingency plans in place that will enable us to continue service with minimal ramp-up time.

A Global Market

GroundLink continues to offer service in more than 460 cities worldwide, and we will still honor reservations in any of those cities, including those in affected areas. All of our drivers across the globe receive our safety instructions and will be briefed on the best ways to keep you and themselves safe and healthy.

Taking Precautions

We have asked our affiliates and drivers to use anti-viral cleaning products to disinfect thoroughly in between trips and have advised them to wear gloves when handling luggage. Following the Centers for Disease Control’s advice, we have shared these guidelines for prevention:

  1. Wash your hands often with soap and hot water for at least 20 seconds.
  2. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  3. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  4. Stay home if you are sick.
  5. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, and immediately place the tissue in the trash.
  6. Clean and disinfect frequently-touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.

Face masks continue to be mandated for all GroundLink drivers and are advised for all GroundLink passengers.

We recommend everyone riding with GroundLink wear a face mask or covering, and we thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Additionally, we are disallowing front-seat passengers in GroundLink vehicles.

We are taking these precautions in order to ensure the safety of our passengers and drivers, as well as to help stop the spread of COVID-19. As always, your safety continues to be our top priority at GroundLink.

Book With Confidence

Even during the best of times, we know that travelers’ plans can change. Our generous cancellation policy ensures that now as always, you can book travel knowing that you can change or cancel it within the cancellation window if need be.

Wherever and whenever you are traveling, GroundLink will continue to provide you with safe, reliable ground transportation.
