GroundLink CEO Liz Carisone Named in Top 40 Women in Travel
GroundLink CEO, Liz Carisone, was named one of WINiT’s 2019 Top 40 Women in Travel. The award acknowledges women leaders throughout the travel industry who are reinventing, leaning in, and creating momentum that will be felt by those beyond their community and field.
Known for building and executing strategies, creating effective teams, and driving results, Liz is at the heart of GroundLink’s mission to be the leading provider of tech-enabled black car services. As CEO, she is instrumental in scaling GroundLink’s global infrastructure and plays a critical role in engineering the company’s winning strategies. Since joining the company in 2012, Liz has used her unique blend of financial and operational experience as well as her background in mergers, acquisitions, integrations, turnarounds, and restructuring to lead GroundLink forward and upward.
Over the last five years, she has achieved significant improvements in GroundLink’s unique customer offerings, consisting of mobile, web, and call center service, as well as scaled the company’s infrastructure, allowing GroundLink to provide a seamless booking, ride, and billing experience for customers. Additionally, Liz continues to oversee the execution of GroundLink’s industry-leading safety standards that meet the needs of both corporate clients and discerning travelers.
For Liz Carisone, the past year has been about growth. The rise of transportation network companies had revealed the need for responsive and on-demand transportation, and GroundLink knew it could provide that transportation in high-end vehicles with licensed and insured drivers. In 2019, some of Liz’s key accomplishments include expanding GroundLink’s black car service to over 500 cities worldwide, launching GroundLink’s all-new Events and Analytics dashboards to simplify event & travel management for travel arrangers, launching GroundLink’s new website and GroundLink also being recognized as one of Silicon Valley’s 30 Most Reputable Companies of 2019.
