Duty of Care
Safety is key and very important to any passenger taking a taxi, black car, or app-based ride service. To address all duty-of-care best practices, GroundLink assesses the obligations needed to provide the best security and protection for our passengers. Requiring all car service drivers to be properly registered and pass a background check, drivers must also have at least 2 years of commercial driving experience and have a great record. All drivers’ vehicles must be 5 years or newer and in excellent condition. They are required to use our proprietary driver app, which provides GPS tracking and vehicle identification. Drivers are continually reviewed and ratings and reviews are monitored to ensure exceptional service. GroundLink provides a stacked insurance policy, providing $6 million in minimum coverage if an incident were to occur. Additionally, GroundLink is PCI Certification awarded and maintained, which means our systems have met a rigorous set of requirements, to ensure that customer data is protected as it’s being processed or transmitted and stored in a secure environment.
